Editor: Symbo is designed to make developer’s life easier. Almost all professional commercial software vendors exclude debug information from release builds due to security issues, so crash reports come back without clean Stack traces.
It is a real pain to translate crash dumps by hands. Even if you write a helper script to convert a single address from the stack trace, there is still a problem to determine what exactly debug symbols file is needed. That’s why we made Symbo.
Symbo is a “library of projects”: it stores projects, builds and crash dumps. You simply drop the application bundle to Symbo and it saves all necessary data to the library. Next time you drop .log or .txt file, it will be parsed and automatically added to the corresponding build.
Symbo allows to add comments and files to any object of the library, so you can keep crash dump, e-mail from your customer and any related files at one place.
